Fears

At some point in our life we all been afraid of something, but what are those fears? Some people are afraid of darkness, spiders, heights, and monsters under the bed or even trivial things as cats or dogs, in my case when I was five a small fluffy dog chased me and bite me so I was afraid of dogs till I turn 6, then the night terrors came in I was so afraid of the night that I couldn’t even sleep I even took therapy for that and after a long time that was part of the past.

But why do people have fears, fears are a way of self-preservation, fears are like natural secures that prevent you from doing stupid and dangerous things, but other fears comes from traumatically experiences that sometimes we didn’t even realize and hunt us for our entire life.

Right now my biggest and only fear is fail in life in by that I mean socially, personally and economically, at this point of my life I have it good I have a great job, great friends, wonderful girlfriend and I’m almost  finishing my degree in Business Administration, but lately I’ve been doubting many things…

What if this just a step? What will be of me in 20 years? What if this isn’t what I’m supposed to do with my life... but at the end it doesn't matter what questions I throw myself in... Life is and always will be an endless pit of unanswered questions with only one certain point... you're destined to be whatever you push yourself to be.

Thoughts of a teenage boy

Yesterday I was checking my old notebooks from school and I found one that I used to write my thoughts as a way to vent myself from the teenage violent & confusing winds, that brought me a lot of memories and I found this, something that I wrote back in 2002, at that time I was 12 years old with a mind full thoughts and armed with  pen & paper  to write them all, so this is what was going throught my mind that day...

What is life? Is it an answer to our existence...?

In our lives we must think of something that you cannot think possible and before we do that we realize the truth of what we do every day. In our minds we create the illusion of things that can help to improve us or try to believe in something that sometimes can’t be.

In occasions some mixed feelings give way to a set of emotions that we confuse with other things that makes us think nonsense, things that can make us think that life is a mystery in which man is the divine, when what we actually have to do with it at times when we feel that life comes up causing us many indecisions is to choose the way in which will form our existence.

Life

Sometimes we go trough certain situations that we didn’t ask for and barely know how to handle, its like existence itself put you some kind of trials for you to define yourself as a person, lately I was thinking about that and I’ve realize that if life was exactly the way we want to be, it wouldn’t be life it would be a dream.
Without its challenges this would be an endless time full of nonsense and repetition with only one sure expectation Death, as I see it those little things that sometimes happen before we even realize those things are the ones that define your life as real, when you go ahead and star planing your life like it was some kind of road trip sooner or later you’ll realize that those very plans you made are far from what you are today, in life you just need to set some goals and follow those goals along the path that’s called life.

Propaganda vs Reallity

Is incredible how foolish people are, Joseph Kony the lider of the LRA has been doing that for almost 25 years or maybe more and just now out of nowhere people started to find out about his crimes, open your eyes there’s some interest behind and Kony is being used as an excuse to invade Uganda.

People should start to be interested in what's happening in this god dam world and stop being manipulated by the media the fact that KONY propaganda was brought to light right now is just because the US Government has some interest in Uganda...

That's the same shit that happened with Saddam Hussein, & Muamar Gadafi , US propaganda brought to light all the crimes and make them look like killers I'm not saying they were saints but if Iraq and Libya weren’t so oil wealth they wouldn't even bother about what that fuck could be happening in those god forgotten countries, but since there’s been a crisis with oil in the world they trying to control all the oil sources using them as an excuse to invade Iraq and to manipulate people into overthrowing the Libya Government.

I’m not defending the crimes Saddam Hussein, & Muamar Gadafi, but if they were doing all kinds of crimes against the people from their countries, why don't they stop him right away? that’s because they we cooperating with the US system which is actually very simple you’re with us or against us and you have to choices you say yes to everything we want to do in your country and give us all the resources we could ever need or you’ll be blow the fuck out of this world.

That’s what happened when they stop cooperating and started to fight against the system, all those things they’ve done under the scope of the whole world were used against them to satisfy the needs of the system, first they invade Iraq under the suspicion that they were developing weapons of mass destruction by the time the war ended the number of WMD found was cero, and with Libya when Gadafi tried to withdraw foreign military bases and some oil companies were nationalized he became a treat to US interest, after years of economic measures against Libya the regime was finish by 2011, mostly by the involvement of the CIA providing weapons and aid to the Libya Rebel forces.

And now with all the media focused on Joseph Kony they’re doing the same only that these time they’re invading for natural resources, they’re doing it just to amass military power in the west, having more presence and control over the countries with certain economic or natural resources.

For those of you who don’t might know this back in 2010, an oil rig was found near Lake Albert in Uganda, so in this country with such hard political problems, all you have to do is expose those political problems like the LRA children army and get support from people and convince them to start a war just to have an excuse to invade Uganda, but there's always been violent warlords in Africa so the question is the same why now ? and the answer remains the same... the need to control most valuable natural resource OIL.

I do not mean not to support the Kony Movement, he should pay for what he done to all those children in Uganda, I’m just saying that before you make a decision you should know the reasons why that decision is being made….

Turn off the TV, get away from the computer, don’t believe everything you see on the newspapers all of that is designed to prevent people from thinking

New Year Resolutions

This year will be the first one I’m doing New Year Resolutions, I’ve always thought that most people only said this stuff but never actually do something, but in my case I won’t be doing any far from ordinary.

This year im going to take some time to appreciate the simple things of life, things like we usually ignore due to our daily routine, last year my life was full of routines waking up, bathing, eating, working, studying so you get to a point where you get tired of doing the same things over and over.
That’s why this new year ima take some time to step away from the routine and try new things, (I'm not saying that ill stop bathing, eating, working or studying I'm just saying I wont be doing the same things every day like I'm some kind of robot), I’ll try to make everyday different from the one before, although I'm not really sure about what new things but ill think of something, meanwhile ill change my attitude to be ready for when those new things arrive.
This is a new year full of dreams, goals, and promises.

Xmas Time

It’s officially Christmas time and even when I was a child there’s always been something about Xmas that made me happy.

My first memories of Christmas comes from when I used to lived with both of my parents, every year by the end of November we use to set up the Christmas Tree, I could spend hours looking at that tree, in fact that was all I did looking at every single detail, letting my mind wanders into it.

Most of my Christmas memories comes from those moments we spent together as a family, mom used to make the biggest dinners ever on December 24th and most of my family used to get together, it was one of the best nights of the year, seeing all my uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, grandpa & grandma all together it was just great.

My advice for this Christmas is to have a great time whether you’re with you family or by yourself, remember you always have someone that will do whatever just to see a smile on your face.

Life on Facebook

I still remember when I started using Facebook, it was like 2004 at that time I was a Hi5 user and changing to Facebook was like updating your old 1992 Honda Civic your parents bought you to a new Mercedes I was pretty excited about it, the first thing I notice was that people used their real names unlike Hi5 where everybody used to had some short of retarded name instead.

My first weeks were full of surprises I pretty much learned everything about Facebook by myself but soon I realized that having a Facebook was more of an issue than I thought it was, at first all I did was wait for someone to comment on all the nonsense’s and weird photos I posted there.

Most of the stuff I did on FB was friend requesting people I barely knew, try to hit on girls (it didn’t work out for me), and updating my status every 5 seconds with what I’ve been doing, song lyrics, or shit about crushes, but the real problems began when I started playing those FB games those who looks silly and bored but are extremely addictive.

My nightmare started with Farmville you know the pretty addictive game where you become a virtual farmer harvest stuff and raise livestock, I’ve spent endless hours in that game just to find out that I’ve been wasting precious time, where I could been living or doing something more productive and believe me everything you could imagine is more productive that spend days harvesting imaginary crops but by that time I realize that, I was the proud owner of a farm big enough to move my entire population of FB Friends.

After that my Facebook activities dropped down faster than a rock falling into a precipice, I went from checking my Facebook every five seconds to hardly just once or twice daily, but that was until I discovered Sims Social with my previous experience in Farmville I was more how can I say it cautious by three weeks I was bored to death.

And now I realize that Facebook is a real problem and I don’t what to people to find out about every single aspect of my life, and now like the 95% of FB users I only use Facebook every once in awhile to stalk on other people’s life, and to know what the latest gossip about people I might know.
